Rymi vs Retell AI
Rymi and Retell AI both put AI agents on phone calls through an API. They differ in how the per-minute bill is assembled, how phone numbers are handled, and which languages get a native voice. Retell figures come from retellai.com/pricing, read on 26 October 2026. Check the page again before you decide, since vendors change prices.

Pricing model
Retell bills by component, and the page lists each one with a rate. That gives you control over every part and a longer sum to check. Rymi's Managed agents fold speech, model and voice into one rate set per agent. Its Custom agents are closer to Retell's shape: you choose the providers, and Rymi adds a flat $0.02/min runtime fee.
Retell tracks calls to the nearest second. Rymi bills in 30-second increments. For short calls that difference moves the total, so price your average call length on both.
Phone numbers and carriers
Rymi does not sell phone numbers. You connect Plivo, Twilio, Vonage or Telnyx, keep your numbers, and pay your carrier directly. Retell lists its own telephony rate and also lets you bring SIP trunking. If you want the vendor to supply numbers, that is a point for Retell.
Languages
Rymi's managed English agents are available everywhere. Managed Hindi agents, with native Hindi voices on the Hindi flagship agents, are available to businesses operating in India. Other Indian languages run on a custom stack, and accent quality there is the provider's. Retell's pricing page does not state language coverage, so test the language you need with the voice you would deploy. More on Hindi and Indic agents.
Where Retell fits better
- It includes 20 concurrent calls and prices extra concurrency at $8 per call per month. Rymi has no default cap on concurrent calls and sets a per-tenant limit on request, with no published price per line.
- You want the vendor to provide phone numbers and a verified or branded caller identity.
- You want to pick each LLM and voice from a long priced list on one page.
Where Rymi fits better
- You want one per-minute number that already includes speech, model and voice.
- You need a native-accent Hindi or Hinglish agent for businesses operating in India.
- You want AI clients such as Claude or Cursor to build and run agents through the hosted MCP server.
- You want a free tier that renews every month.
